Mobile Illumination began with a spark. On a movie studio tour, founder and President Jason saw how light could turn an ordinary place into something magical, and he wanted to bring that feeling to homes across Los Angeles. He built the company around a simple idea: a turnkey service that lets families enjoy Christmas on a whole different level, without lifting a finger.

Jason brings the planning discipline he learned juggling an engineering degree and football at UCLA to every install. Since 2001, that care has lit up family homes and iconic places like The Grove and Warner Bros. Away from work, you’ll find him flying as a private pilot or spending time with his wife and three boys, grounded by his faith.

Our designers shape a plan around your home’s architecture and landscape, with one flat price that covers everything.

3. INSTALLATION

You review the design and make it yours. Nothing goes up until you’re happy with it.

4. MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

Our licensed crews install every light with care, using clips made for your surfaces. No nails, no staples, no holes.

5. REMOVAL

If anything stops working, a specialist is out within 24 to 48 hours at no extra charge.

6. STORAGE

After the holidays, we take everything down, leave your property just as we found it, and store it all until next year.

No. It is a flat rate. The price is the same in September as it is in December. Booking early only decides how much choice you get over your install date, and our calendar is typically full by early November.

No. We supply everything, install it, maintain it, take it down, and store it. You are not buying boxes of lights you have to keep, and nothing ends up in your garage.

Call us and a specialist is out within 24 to 48 hours. Repairs during the season are part of the flat rate, not an extra charge.

Yes. We hold a California C-10 Electrical Contractor License, number 1046205, and we carry full insurance. Most companies doing seasonal lighting in Southern California are not licensed electrical contractors. On a roofline carrying live current, that matters.

No. We use clips designed for the surface we are attaching to. No staples, no nails, no holes. After removal your property looks exactly as we found it
