It’s that time of year again to create unforgettable memories visiting magical places filled with Christmas lights and décor. The Los Angeles Zoo’s “Wild Wonderland of Lights” is the place to be to create those memories with friends and family. Open every night until January 5, 2020, explore this self-guided 60-to-90 minute stroll through the lights.

You’ll find giant glowing animals, like tigers and gorillas with their babies, the world’s largest illuminated pop-up storybook filled with a large illuminated tree and glowing animals, a magical disco ball forest and giant glittering snowflakes. For those who can’t get enough of Christmas lights and décor, witness the illuminated rose garden, a butterfly forest, a huge glowing spider and spiderweb and a twinkling tunnel of lights filled with dynamic swirls of color. While you’re exploring all of the glowing places, don’t miss the hourly dazzling laser light show to festive holiday music at the water fountain.

Although most of the zoo’s animals will be sleeping in their night quarters, living amphibians, invertebrates, and reptiles will be awake in the LAIR.

On select dates, Santa Claus will be making visits at the zoo. Come take pictures with Santa from 6:00pm – 9:30pm through December 23rd. Check here to see the dates Santa will be in town for visits. Before you go, don’t forget to take a picture in front of the red and green LA Zoo Lights sign!

We are proud to announce that Mobile Illumination designed, manufactured, and installed all these displays around the L.A. Zoo. We hope you all get a chance to visit enjoy all of the stunning lighting displays!
